MADE FROM FOODEA TOMATO PUREE
Ingredients for Arrabiata Sauce
Foodea Canned Tomato Puree 1 cup
Fresh Tomato Puree 1/2 cup
Olive oil 1 tablespoon + for drizzling
Celery , chopped 1 tablespoon
Foodea Red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
Basil leaves fresh 5-8 + to garnish
Method
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add celery and sauté for a minute.
Add canned tomato puree and fresh tomato puree and mix well. Add chilli flakes, salt and sugar, mix well and cook for 5-10 minutes or till the sauce reduces.
Tear the basil leaves and add. Mix and cook for a minute.
Transfer into a serving bowl, drizzle some olive oil, garnish with basil leaves and use as required.
